Congleton Food & Drink Festival: A Slower Pace, Meaningful Moments & Crystal Connections

Today brought a completely different vibe as we set up stall at the Congleton Food and Drink Festival. Compared to the energy of Radcliffe Carnival, it was a much more chilled-out atmosphere — but just as enjoyable in its own special way.

It was lovely to catch up with a friend we hadn’t seen in a while. You know those conversations that feel like no time has passed at all? One of those. It was such a grounding reminder of the importance of connection, even in the middle of a busy day.

One of the most memorable moments came from a lovely gentleman who stopped by to chat about his crystal journey. After sharing stories and good energy, he came back a little later to show us some of his own crystals — one of which he asked us to identify. Turns out, it was Peridot! Such a beautiful, heart-opening stone — and a lovely moment of shared curiosity and knowledge.

And perhaps the most magical moment of the day? A young boy approached our stall, and both Taylor and I instantly knew which crystal he was going to pick. Without a word spoken, he reached out and chose exactly the one we’d both felt. It’s always amazing to see intuition at work — especially when it involves little ones being drawn to the energy they need most.

All in all, it was a slower-paced day, but full of meaningful moments, lovely chats, and synchronicities that remind us why we do what we do. Thank you, Congleton — and thank you to everyone who stopped by today. Until next time!
